  • About This Album

Originally released as the third in a series of imported 12" vinyl releases featuring variations on music from Björk's Biophilia, this digital EP includes versions of three songs—here titled "Crystalline," "Tesla," and "Mawal"—by Syrian musician Omar Souleyman. Souleyman's work blends traditional folk music from the Middle East with more modern electronic sounds. Prefix calls his collaboration with Björk "a wonderful fusion of styles."
