Emmylou Harris joins Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, and more for a special episode of Austin City Limits (ACL) featuring performances from the inaugural Austin City Limits Hall of Fame presentation, which took place in April. The hour-long special, hosted by actor Matthew McConaughey, debuts on PBS this weekend. Harris and ACL Hall of Fame inductee Nelson perform "Crazy," and Lovett joins them both for a trio take on "Pancho & Lefty" and "On the Road Again." Harris's groundbreaking album Wrecking Ball was the featured classic album on BBC Radio 2's Johnnie Walker’s Long Players program earlier this week.

Emmylou Harris joins Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Buddy Guy, and more for a special episode of Austin City Limits (ACL), as the landmark television series closes out its 40th season with a broadcast of performance highlights from the inaugural Austin City Limits Hall of Fame presentation. The hour-long special, hosted by actor Matthew McConaughey, debuts on PBS stations across the United States this Saturday, February 14. The ceremony took place on April 26, 2014, at ACL’s original home, KLRU’s legendary Studio 6A. In the broadcast, Harris joins ACL Hall of Fame inductee Nelson for a performance of "Crazy," which you can watch below via Rolling Stone, and Lovett joins them both for a trio take on "Pancho & Lefty" and "On the Road Again."

ACL's landmark 40th season also included performances from The Black Keys and Nickel Creek, which aired last month. For more information, visit acltv.com. Full episodes are made available online for a limited time at video.pbs.org immediately following the initial broadcast.

Also in April 2014, Nonesuch Records released a three-disc reissue of Emmylou Harris's groundbreaking, Grammy Award–winning album Wrecking Ball. The album was the featured classic album on BBC Radio 2's Johnnie Walker’s Long Players program earlier this week. You can listen again at bbc.co.uk; Harris's segment begins at 34 minutes into the show.
