Dan Auerbach was the featured guest on yesterday's episode of Morning Becomes Eclectic on radio station KCRW, 89.9 FM, out of Santa Monica, California, following his tour closer at LA's El Ray Theatre Saturday night. Dan and the guys from Hacienda, along with My Morning Jacket's Patrick Hallahan, all of whom toured with Dan, perform more than half the songs off his recent Nonesuch solo debut, Keep It Hid, live in the KCRW studios: "Mean Monsoon," "My Last Mistake," "The Prowl," "I Want Some More," "Real Desire," "Street Walkin'," "Keep It Hid," and "When the Night Comes," plus the unreleased tune "Money and Trouble." At the end of the set, the show's host, Jason Bentley, tells Dan, "Man, you got some soul, brother."

The two also discuss the making of the new record, off which Bentley says his favorites tracks are "When the Night Comes" and "Heartbroken, In Disrepair." He says they "really caught my attention as just soulful blues-rock of the highest order."
