Landfall, Anderson's first collaboration with Kronos Quartet, will be released on Nonesuch this Friday, February 16. The piece was inspired by her experience of Hurricane Sandy, which hit the New York City area in 2012. The album is streaming in full till release day as an NPR Music First Listen at npr.org/firstlisten.
