Chris Thile spoke with the Austin Chronicle about tomorrow night's concert in Cedar Park, Texas, and about the new album the band has been working on, the follow-up to its 2010 Nonesuch release, Antifogmatic. Read the article at austinchronicle.com.

As announced earlier this week, Thile will join guitarist Michael Daves—with whom he released their debut duo album, Sleep with One Eye Open, on Nonesuch earlier this year—for a performance at The Allen Room in New York City on January 12 as part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series. Tickets are on sale to Friends of Lincoln Center now and go on sale to the general public on November 14.

Also recently announced, Punch Brothers will join label mates Carolina Chocolate Drops for a double bill at the 2012 Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow, Scotland, in January. While in the UK, Punch Brothers will be performing in London, headlining at Bush Hall on January 18. The band has several European dates that week supporting Amos Lee, with shows in Amsterdam and Paris, and a return to London to play O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on January 21.

Back in the States in January, Punch Brothers will join the incomparable Loudon Wainwright III for two shows. Later next year, the band has also been tapped to perform at the 2012 MerleFest, which takes place in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, April 26–29, and the Adelaide International Guitar Festival in August.

To pick up a copy of the Punch Brothers' latest Nonesuch release, Antifogmatic, and Chris Thile and Michael Daves' Sleep with One Eye Open, head to the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the album at checkout.
