Congratulations to Punch Brothers, nominated for two International Bluegrass Music Awards: Instrumental Group of the Year and Best Graphic Design for a Recorded Project for their new album, The Phosphorescent Blues. Results will be revealed at the IBMAs on October 1 in Raleigh, NC, broadcast live on SiriusXM's Bluegrass Junction. Earlier this year, Punch Brothers were nominated for Best Duo/Group of the Year in the Americana Honors & Awards, which will be held in Nashville on September 16.

Congratulations to Punch Brothers, who have been nominated for two International Bluegrass Music Awards: Instrumental Group of the Year and Best Graphic Design for a Recorded Project for their new album, The Phosphorescent Blues, designed by Evan Gaffney and released in February on Nonesuch Records.

Nominees for the 2015 International Bluegrass Music Awards were announced today at a press conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Awards are voted on by the professional membership of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA). Results of the balloting will be revealed at the International Bluegrass Music Awards on Thursday, October 1, hosted by The Gibson Brothers. The Awards Show is the centerpiece of the World of Bluegrass event, to be held September 29–October 3 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will be broadcast live on SiriusXM Satellite Radio's Bluegrass Junction channel.

Earlier this year, Punch Brothers were nominated for Best Duo/Group of the Year in the Americana Honors & Awards, which will be held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 16. The band is currently touring the United States, performing next at the Hot August Music Festival in Maryland this weekend. For details and tickets, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

    Cécile McLorin Salvant's acclaimed 2023 album, Mélusine, was released one year ago this week. To mark the occasion, we're sharing live performances of four songs from the album made at Oberlin College and Conservatory, starting with "Dites moi que je suis belle," featuring Weedie Braimah on djembe, followed by "Le temps est assassin" with Sullivan Fortner on piano and "Fenestra" and "Dame Iseut" with both Fortner and Braimah.
