The Chicago Tribune's Greg Kot, previewing their recent Chicago set, calls the new album a "genre-busting melange of avant-roots music that fuses jazz instrumental chops and acoustic earthiness, Beach Boys harmonies and Debussy string dances, slinky acoustic rock songs and blues laments." Boston NPR member station WBUR, previewing this Friday's show at the House of Blues there, calls Punch Brothers' new album "their most diverse and joyously inventive album to date."

The pick up a copy of The Phosphorescent Blues, head to iTunes, Amazon, the Punch Brothers shop, or the Nonesuch Store, where CD and LP orders included a download of the complete album at checkout and the HD digital version of the album is also available to purchase.
