Punch Brothers will give audiences a preview of what's to come when they open for Ray LaMontagne at two shows this week: in New York City's Central Park tonight and at Stage AE in Pittsburgh tomorrow night. This coming weekend, the band hits San Francisco to perform at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, the free festival in Golden Gate Park, which will also see sets from label mates The Low Anthem, Jessica Lea Mayfield, and perennial Hardly Strictly favorite Emmylou Harris.

This week's performances follow Chris Thile's recent solo tour of the UK and Ireland. Thile also performed a special duo set with label mate Brad Mehldau at London's Wigmore Hall, to which the Guardian and Financial Times both gave four-star reviews.

To pick up a copy of the Punch Brothers' latest Nonesuch release, Antifogmatic, and Thile's recent duo album with guitarist Michael Daves, Sleep with One Eye Open, head to the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the album at checkout.
