Rostam Launches Tour, Adds New Dates, Shares "Bike Dream" Video

Rostam, who kicked off a month-long North American tour with a sold-out show in Atlanta last night, has added new dates on the flip side of the tour in late March. The spring shows include stops across the US, Europe, and the UK. Also today comes the release of a new, official video for "Bike Dream," from his album Half-Light, directed by Rostam and filmed in Paris, Berlin, and Copenhagen. You can watch it here.

Rostam, whose debut album, Half-Light, was released on Nonesuch late last year, kicked off a North American tour with a sold-out show at The Earl in Atlanta last night. As the tour continues with sold-out shows in Nashville, DC, Boston, and beyond, additional dates have just been announced on the other side of the current tour following a set at the Big Ears Festival in late March. The spring shows include stops across the US Midwest and South, and a return to Europe and the UK; tickets for these new dates go on sale this Friday, February 2.     Composer/guitarist Yasmin Williams—whose first song on Nonesuch, "Dawning," was released late last year ahead of her label debut album, due later this year—will support Brittany Howard and Michael Kiwanuka on their North American fall tour. The shows begin at The Met in Philadelphia on September 29, and include stops in Boston, New York, Saint Paul, Denver, Boise, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Berkeley, Los Angeles, and more.
