Sara Watkins will join Garrison Keillor and the cast of public radio's A Prairie Home Companion on a coast-to-coast concert tour this August and September that will take on the everlasting theme of romantic love, fittingly dubbed the Summer Love Tour.

Watson and Keillor, along with the Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band and sound-effects man Fred Newman, head out on the road for summer evenings filled with tender duets and ballads, poetry (Poe, Shakespeare, Anonymous), stories of passion and marriage, and Keillor’s intermission walk through the audience for the sing-along of “Unchained Melody” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.” Also on board are all the audience favorite from A Prairie Home Companion—Guy Noir, Dusty and Lefty, the News from Lake Wobegon—for what they promise to be an entertaining date night for all ages.

The Summer Love Tour kicks off August 10 at Kresge Auditorium in Interlochen, Michigan, as part of the Interlochen Arts Festival, and runs through a mid-September closer at the Charlottesville Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia. Below are all of the dates currently planned for the tour.

This weekend, Watkins will be at The Grand Theatre in Frankfort, Kentucky, tonight for a Caring for Kids Benefit Concert and at Nashville's Centennial Park on Saturday for a free Earth Day celebration with performers including Béla Fleck.
