Shawn Colvin to Be Featured on HGTV's "Celebrities at Home"
Shawn Colvin—whose new album, All Fall Down, and memoir, Diamond in the Rough, are both due out June 5—will be featured on HGTV's Celebrities at Home tonight at 8 PM ET. Colvin will take host Nancy O'Dell on a tour of her colorful Austin home designed with eclectic flea market finds. Nonesuch Store pre-orders of the All Fall Down and Diamond in the Rough bundle include an instant download of the album's title track, "All Fall Down."

Shawn Colvin to Perform Record Release Show in NYC Broadcast Live on WFUV, Announces Tour Dates
Shawn Colvin, whose new album, All Fall Down, is due out June 5, will preview tracks from the album at NYC’s City Winery on June 4. The show will be broadcast live on New York's WFUV, 90.7 FM, streaming live at wfuv.org. A consummate, natural and engaging performer, Colvin has a run of live shows leading up to and following the album’s release, including headlining shows, duo dates with Mary Chapin Carpenter, and shows as very special guest of Chris Isaak. Fans can expect to hear much loved favorites as well as songs from the new album.

Nonesuch Releases New Shawn Colvin Album, "All Fall Down," June 5; Her Memoir, "Diamond in the Rough," to Be Published Same Day
On June 5, Nonesuch Records will release the new Shawn Colvin album, All Fall Down. A collection of 11 songs—eight written or co-written by Colvin—All Fall Down is her eighth studio album and the first to be produced by her longtime friend and cohort Buddy Miller (Robert Plant, Solomon Burke). Recorded in Nashville, All Fall Down features performances by Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Jakob Dylan, Bill Frisell, Viktor Krauss, Brian Blade, Stuart Duncan, and Julie Miller, among others. The release of All Fall Down comes on the same date as William Morrow/HarperCollins publishes her memoir, Diamond in the Rough.

Video: Shawn Colvin Goes Behind the Scenes of Her Performance on HBO's "Treme"
Shawn Colvin, who is currently on tour, recently appeared on an episode of HBO's Treme. On the show, from David Simon, creator of The Wire, Colvin performs her song "I'm Gone," off her 2006 Nonesuch debut album, These Four Walls, with violinist Lucia Micarelli, who plays Annie on the series. You can watch some of their performance and see Colvin and Micarelli discuss how it all fits into the series in a video here.

Allen Toussaint, Wilco, Shawn Colvin, Amadou & Mariam, Oumou Sangare All Nominated for Grammys
The nominations are in for the 52nd Grammy Awards and include five Nonesuch artists: Allen Toussaint for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, The Bright Mississippi; Wilco for Best Americana Album, Wilco (the album); Shawn Colvin for Best Contemporary Folk Album, Live; and, for Best Contemporary World Music Album, both Amadou & Mariam (Welcome to Mali) and Oumou Sangare (Seya). Steven Epstein was nominated as Producer of the Year, Classical, for work including John Adams's Doctor Atomic Symphony.

Shawn Colvin Returns to Yoshi's San Francisco, Site of "Live" Recording
Shawn Colvin begins a four-night residency at Yoshi's in San Francisco tonight. Part of a larger tour across the United States, this week's sets take on added meaning as they mark a return to the site where Colvin's recent Nonesuch release, Live, was recorded back in July 2008, featuring 15 tracks from throughout her career.
