Shawn Colvin's "Live" Out Today; Listen on AOL Music's Full CD Listening Party

Shawn Colvin's new Live album is out on Nonesuch today. And in celebration of its release, AOL Music is now streaming the album in its entirety for the New Music Releases Full CD Listening Party. You can listen now at music.aol.com.

Colvin chose the 15 songs on the new Live album from throughout her two-decades strong catalog of music, including her Nonesuch debut, These Four Walls. Live includes 12 songs written or co-written by Colvin, as well as covers of songs by Robbie Robertson, Gnarls Barkley, and Talking Heads. She makes it all sound even more deeply insightful and compellingly up to date in this recording, taken from three sold-out nights at San Francisco's famed Yoshi's jazz club in July 2008.

All orders placed in the Nonesuch Store through July 21 include the exclusive bonus download "Another Long One" and are registered to win a signed Martin guitar.

The Three Girls and Their Buddy tour, for which Shawn shares the stage with fellow singer/songwriters Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, and Buddy Miller, takes the group to San Diego tonight for a show at Humphrey's by the Bay, before heading to LA's Greek Theatre tomorrow night and cities up the West Coast through the end of next week. In mid-July, Colvin joins Jackson Browne for a couple of dates on the East Coast leg of his tour. For more tour information, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Comments

I am trying to order the CD + MP3 of Shawn Colvin's "Live" album, newly released TODAY; The icon to choose it will not select!
I will try it again later, but there is a problem somewhere...
not sure if it is on my end or yours. Hope it clear up soon!

Our apologies for the ordering difficulties and for the belated response to your comment. Unfortunately, there was a temporary glitch in the system on Tuesday that may have kept your order from going through. This was resolved that day, so, hopefully, there should be no problem in placing your order now. Thank you for your patience and for supporting Shawn's music.
