The Magnetic Fields' Distortion tour may have come to a close, but that just means more time for Stephin Merritt to share another of his many talents: DJing. He stopped by the KCRW studios in his newly adopted hometown of Los Angeles this past Sunday to play guest DJ on Gary Calamar's late-night show.

The Magnetic Fields' tour in support of their latest Nonesuch release, Distortion, may have come to a close, but that just means more time for Stephin Merritt to share another of his many talents: DJing. Stephin discussed his move from the East Coast and spun some of his favorite '60s pop tunes. The show's host cites The Banana Splits' "I Enjoy Being a Girl" as his favorite tune of the night. You can listen to the hourlong set at kcrw.com.
