Congratulations to The Black Keys, whose ninth studio album, "Let's Rock," debuted at No. 1 on the US Top Current Album Chart, and No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The album is also No. 1 in the following categories: Top Current Rock Albums, Current Alternative Album, Current Digital Albums, LP Vinyl Album, and Top Internet. Internationally, "Let's Rock" is the band's third consecutive top 10 album in the UK, debuting at No. 3, as well as top 10 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland, among others.

The Black Keys were on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday to discuss their new album, "Let's Rock." "We just kind of have always had this connection, where we can make music without really talking about it or thinking about it," says Dan Auerbach. "And when we were sixteen, that's why—that's what we realized right away. We just started playing, and it worked, you know? And that's just how it's always been." The Black Keys have released the music video for their new song "Go," from their upcoming album "Let's Rock." The video is directed by Bryan Schlam and finds the band struggling to reconnect after five years apart. Pat Carney says, "It was great making this video with Bryan, partially because it was filmed at the very type of place it is making fun of," and Dan Auerbach adds, "The video was fun, but we still haven't spoken." The Black Keys have made history as their song "Lo/Hi," off the forthcoming album "Let's Rock," tops Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs, Adult Alternative Songs, Rock Airplay, and Alternative Songs charts—the first time any song has reached No. 1 on all four formats at once.

"The record is like an homage to electric guitar," says Carney. "We took a simple approach and trimmed all the fat like we used to." The second song from the record, "Eagle Birds," debuts today; it follows the previously released single "Lo/Hi." The Black Keys' North American tour begins September 23.

The Black Keys have confirmed an extensive, thirty-one-date arena tour of North America. The "Let's Rock" Tour will hit cities including Chicago, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, and Austin. Special guests Modest Mouse will provide support on all dates, and Shannon & The Clams, *repeat repeat, and Jessy Wilson will each open select shows on the tour. The band also headlines 2019's Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas on September 21.
