Christina Courtin performed at Joe's Pub in New York City on Friday night and performs again in New York later this month for the Reclaim the Coast concert at City Winery to benefit the Gulf Restoration Network. Courtin recently performed two songs off her self-titled Nonesuch debut album in Brooklyn for La Blogotheque's "Take-Away Shows." You can watch the resulting videos here.

Christina Courtin performed songs from her self-titled Nonesuch debut album at Joe's Pub in New York City on Friday night, joined onstage by Pete Rende, Ryan Scott, Robin MacMillan, and Shanir Blumenkranz. Courtin will perform again in New York later this month in Reclaim the Coast, a multi-artist concert at City Winery to benefit Gulf Coast communities hit by the BP oil disaster. All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Gulf Restoration Network. Courtin and her band recently met up with director Adam Hall and his crew in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, to film performances of two songs off the album—"One Man Down" and "Foreign Country"—for La Blogotheque's "Everyone's Take-Away Shows." A few of the neighborhood's adorable young residents can be seen and heard enjoying the latter performance. Watch the videos here:
