Ruthie Ann Miles, who plays Imelda Marcos in David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's musical Here Lies Love, and her co-star Conrad Ricamora, who plays Ninoy Aquino, were joined by a few of their fellow cast members to perform "I Am a Child of the Philippines" on Fox 5's Good Day NY this morning. Miles and Ricamora also spoke a bit about the musical, which is now playing at the Public Theater in New York City. You can watch the segment here.

The Washington Post recently described Here Lies Love as "one of New York’s most exhilarating musicals." Nonesuch Records released the original cast recording this spring. The recording features music performed by the original 2013 Public Theater cast of the musical, including Ruthie Ann Miles and Conrad Ricamora, and Jose Llana as Ferdinand Marcos.

    The Black Keys have secured the No. 1 Current Rock Album and No. 1 Current Alternative Album in US sales following the release of their new album, Ohio Players, last week. The album also is the highest debut of the week on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums Chart and Top Alternative Albums Chart, at No. 5 on both charts, and has reached No. 4 on Overall Current Album sales and No. 26 on the Billboard 200. Internationally, Ohio Players is the band’s sixth consecutive top 20 album in the UK, as well as top 20 in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Switzerland, among others.
