Randy Newman has just unveiled the video for the song "Sonny Boy," from his forthcoming album, Dark Matter. The video features illustrations by Roger Miller with animation by John Erickson. You can watch it here. The song is available to download now with pre-orders of Dark Matter, along with the previously released album track "Putin." Newman has announced several new US tour dates through the fall.

Randy Newman, whose new album, Dark Matter, is due August 4 on Nonesuch (with vinyl to follow on August 18), has just unveiled the video for the album track "Sonny Boy." The video for the song, which is about blues man Sonny Boy Williamson, features illustrations by Roger Miller with animation by John Erickson. You can watch it below.

The song "Sonny Boy" is available to download now with pre-orders of Dark Matter on iTunes and the Nonesuch Store, along with the previously released album track "Putin," the video for which can be seen here.
