Randy Newman talks about the song "A Piece of the Pie" from his album Harps and Angels.
When I first heard this song, it stopped me dead in my tracks. Great poetry, fantastic music, a classic song. What a great talent Randy Newman is. Songs like A Piece Of The Pie, soar above the dross of hip-hop and the moronic mush that passes for pop songs now a days.
