Gaby Moreno and Van Dyke Parks were on NPR's Alt.Latino to discuss and share tracks from their new album, ¡Spangled!. Guatemalan-born singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno and American musician, songwriter, arranger, and producer Van Dyke Parks, whose album ¡Spangled! is out tomorrow, were on NPR's Alt.Latino to chat with host Felix Contreras and share some of the tracks from the album. You can hear the episode below.

"In 2013, Gaby Moreno was recognized as Best New Artist by the Latin Grammys. Since then, she's more than lived up to that recognition," says Contreras in his introduction. "But even before that, she's been an Alt.Latino favorite, and her latest album continues to give me reason to admire her ...     Composer/guitarist Yasmin Williams—whose first song on Nonesuch, "Dawning," was released late last year ahead of her label debut album, due later this year—will support Brittany Howard and Michael Kiwanuka on their North American fall tour. The shows begin at The Met in Philadelphia on September 29, and include stops in Boston, New York, Saint Paul, Denver, Boise, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Berkeley, Los Angeles, and more.
