Sam Amidon will tour the UK as special guest of singer-songwriter Laura Veirs in February 2019. The tour begins in Milton Keynes on February 3 and includes stops in Norwich, Nottingham, York, Liverpool, Birmingham, Winchester, and Oxford. Amidon will perform at the EFG London Jazz Festival later this month and at Celtic Connections in Glasgow in January.

Sam Amidon, who recently made his own tour of the UK, has just announced that he will tour the country as special guest of singer-songwriter Laura Veirs in February 2019.     Yola has joined The Highwomen—Amanda Shires, Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, and Maren Morris—on the just-released self-titled track to the group's eponymous upcoming album, as does Sheryl Crow. Shires and Carlile wrote the song with Jimmy Webb, who had penned the 1985 tune "Highwayman" for the supergroup by that name featuring Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash.
