Watch: Lianne La Havas Unveils "Green & Gold" Video; Announces Royal Albert Hall Show

Lianne La Havas, who recently closed out a month-long North American tour with a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, has just unveiled the official music video for the song she played for the show: "Green & Gold," from her new album, Blood. You can watch the video, directed by Ravi Dhar, below.

La Havas has returned to the UK, where she is in contention for two of the major awards at this week’s MOBO Awards: Best Album for Blood and Best Female Act; she was also nominated for Best R&B / Soul Act, which was awarded to Shakka at the MOBO Pre-Award Show.

It was just announced that Lianne La Havas will play an Albert Sessions show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 14. The Albert Sessions aim to encourage up-and-coming acts to play the Hall, while attracting younger audiences through lower ticket prices. As part of the project, the headline acts also host music workshops for young people from schools across London, in partnership with the Hall’s Education & Outreach department. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 6, at 9 AM GMT via liannelahavas.com.

To pick up a copy of Blood in the US, head to iTunes and the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl orders include a download of the complete album at checkout.

Composer, singer, and instrumental polymath Ben LaMar Gay's new album, Open Arms to Open Us, is due November 19 on International Anthem / Nonesuch Records. Living up to NPR's claim that "there is no one universe for Ben LaMar Gay, he just sonic booms from one sound to another," he interweaves jazz, blues, ballads, R&B, raga, new music, nursery rhyme, Tropicália, two-step, hip-hop, and beyond in his most colorful and communicable work yet, an expression of his signature omni-genre, "Pan-Americana" brew.
