Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Molly Tuttle was on CBS Saturday Morning to talk with Anthony Mason and perform a Saturday Sessions set: "That's Gonna Leave a Mark," from her upcoming album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine, and "San Joaquin," from her 2023 GRAMMY-winning album, City of Gold. "With my music, its just like a door will open, and then I'm walking through it," Tuttle tells Mason. "All of a sudden, in the last year, I was like, it's time to do something different, to do something totally new and find my own sound that's not emulating a certain genre or style." You can watch the conversation and performance here:

So Long Little Miss Sunshine, recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce, marks a sonic departure from her recent work. The album of eleven originals and one cover (Icona Pop and Charli xcx’s “I Love It”) is a hybrid of pop, country, rock, and flat-picking, plus a murder ballad. Her virtuoso guitar work takes center stage on this album more than ever, and for the first time, she introduces her banjo playing into two of her recordings. You can pre-order the album here.

Robert Plant and Saving Grace will release a vinyl EP, Saving Grace: All That Glitters..., on Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent record stores, taking place on Saturday, April 18. The record follows Plant's recent critically acclaimed album, Saving Grace; both feature singer Suzi Dian and a band of musicians from the English countryside that Plant calls home. The EP's four tracks, recently recorded especially for RSD, explore the folk and Americana songs that Plant and the band love: the traditional tunes "The Blackest Crow" and "Two Coats," arranged by Robert Plant and Saving Grace, as well as Gillian Welch's "Orphan Girl" and Bert Jansch's "Poison." Plant and the band resume their US tour in March.
