Cécile McLorin Salvant performs “Moon Song,” from her Grammy-nominated Nonesuch Records debut, Ghost Song. Recorded during her two-night engagement at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center in May 2022, the video features Salvant along with pianist Sullivan Fortner, percussionist Keita Ogawa, guitarist Marvin Sewell, flutist Alexa Tarantino, and bassist Yasushi Nakamura, all of whom also are on the album.

Rachael & Vilray—the duo of singer/songwriter Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive) and guitarist/singer/songwriter Vilray—share an animated video for “Just Me This Year,” from their 2023 album, I Love a Love Song!. Brad Mehldau performs the title track from his 2023 album, Your Mother Should Know: Brad Mehldau Plays The Beatles. The live solo album, recorded in September 2020 at Philharmonie de Paris, features the pianist and composer’s interpretations of nine songs by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and one by George Harrison. The album ends with a David Bowie classic that draws a connection between The Beatles and pop songwriters who followed. An extended version of this live performance video, recorded at New York City’s legendary Village Vanguard, preceded by an introduction by the pianist, may be seen here.

Featuring himself on drums and percussion, Skinner is joined for the performance by Tom Herbert on acoustic bass, Kareem Dayes on cello, Chelsea Carmichael and Robert Stillman on tenor saxophone, and Paul Camo on samples.

Makaya McCraven performs “Dream Another,” from his 2022 album, In These Times, live at Public Records in Brooklyn, New York. He is joined by Junius Paul (bass), Brandee Younger (harp), De’Sean Jones (tenor saxophone, flute, EWI), Marta Sofia Honer (viola), Macie Stewart (violin), Zara Zaharieva (violin), and Lia Kohl (cello). “It was really fun doing pared down versions of these songs in such an intimate space,” McCraven says, “especially with so many close friends and family in the house.” Directed and edited by Matthew Edginton. Hurray for the Riff Raff (aka Alynda Segarra) shares a live video for “Rosemary Tears,” from their 2022 Nonesuch debut, LIFE ON EARTH. Segarra describes the track as: “A reflection on my experience with time and its passing. The realization that I cannot go back and fix what has been broken. Experiencing memory and time as something that loops on forever beside me, always feeling like the past is not far behind and that it is possible to jump back in. Mourning.” The video was filmed live in concert at Point Éphémère in Paris in September 2022.
