Natalie Merchant: Leave Your Sleep
Take a look inside the beautiful deluxe package of Leave Your Sleep, Natalie Merchant's Nonesuch debut album and the most ambitious project of her career. Merchant adapts the works of such poets as Edward Lear, Ogden Nash, and Robert Graves into a musically kaleidoscopic, two-disc set of new songs. The hard-bound booklet includes lyrics, photos of the poets, and biographical essays on each.

Dear Natalie,
I think a great travesty has occurred about your latest album. The Grammy committee omission of your work shows the dark forces which controls the music industry today. It's a shame that the artist they choose to select do not reflect our age group (i'm 48), and their continued refusal to acknowledge the works from our generation. Time and again they ignored much of the music and for the most part made sure our music (New Wave ect.) have been kept off the radio. I hope this doesn't discourage you and I hope time you come to the Atlanta area I hope to hear you live.
Thank you
