Ben Folds spent Thanksgiving weekend performing a special hometown concert with the Nashville Symphony to benefit the orchestra—whose musical home, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, had been damaged by the great flood that hit Nashville in May—and two local volunteer firefighting organizations, who were among the first responders to the flood. Tomorrow, Folds, an accomplished photographer as well as singer, songwriter, and pianist, will share photos he took of Nashville's flooded streets back in May to help spread the word of the devastation, along with others he has taken over the years, in an event at the National Geographic headquarters in Washington, DC.

He will be presenting his images and speaking with photographer Mark Seliger for National Geographic Live's Music on ... Photography, a four-part series that goes backstage as three musicians—Folds, Neko Case, and Andy Summers—and music photographer Danny Clinch present their photos and favorite stories from behind the lens.

Folds stopped by the Fuse studios this week to talk with Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 and accompany Hoppus on what's sure to be a holiday classic, "Happy Holidays, You Bastard." You can watch them perform the uncensored version at fusemusic.com and on the Christmas episode of Hoppus's show on Fuse, A Different Spin, December 16. In the mean time, tune in to Fuse tonight at 7 PM ET to watch Folds's interview with Hoppus on A Different Spin.

Season 2 of The Sing-Off gets under way this Monday, December 6, at 8 PM ET, with Folds returning to judge the a cappella competition on NBC. He's set up a blog, On Key, in which he'll be writing about the show all season. "Sing-Off is quickly turning into something that I so very much look forward to each year," he writes on the blog. "It's kinda becoming summer camp for me." You can read On Key and learn more about the upcoming season at nbc.com.
