David Byrne and Fatboy Slim have won the Village Voice Obie Award for Music/Lyrics for Here Lies Love; the ceremony was held at Webster Hall in New York on Monday and featured a performance from the cast. Here Lies Love has also won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical, which will be presented tomorrow at Sardi's. The musical, which opened at the Public Theater in April, has now been extended a fourth and final time to run through July 28. Director Alex Timbers is featured on the latest episode of Studio 360, which you can listen to here.

The 58th Annual Village Voice Obie Awards ceremony was held at Webster Hall in New York City on Monday and featured a performance from the cast of Here Lies Love.

It was announced last week that Here Lies Love has won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical. The award will be presented in a ceremony at Sardi's restaurant in New York City tomorrow afternoon, with presenters including, among others, Audra McDonald. Here Lies Love was nominated for the Drama League Award.

The musical, which opened at the Public Theater's LuEsther Theater in New York City in April and, originally slated to run to May 5 and was subsequently extended three times, has now been extended a fourth and final time to run through July 28. For tickets, visit publictheater.org.

The production is directed by Alex Timbers of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Peter and the Starcatcher fame, who was featured on the latest episode of public radio's Studio 360. You can listen to the segment here:
