I cannot think of a better singer/songwriter to perform at such a tribute concert. Emmylou has the heart and soul for this type of concert. She will not sing from her heart, but from her soul as well. Wish I could be there to help pay tribute.

As a fellow child of a military family (also now in my 60's) I am very pleased that Emmy was invited to perform at the 9/11 tribute concert; "Hard Times" is a big favourite of mine and I really enjoyed Emmy's gentle and moving rendering of it, which was the highlight of the concert for me.
