Jessica Lea Mayfield has been nominated for New/Emerging Artist of the Year at the 10th Annual Americana Music Association Honors and Awards. Presented by the AMA, the awards ceremony will take place at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on October 13.

Mayfield launches a week-long tour of Europe at Handelsbeurs in Gent, Belgium, on Friday night, followed by shows in Dublin, London, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, and Amsterdam in the coming days. She returns to the States for a spring/summer tour that begins with a set at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in mid-June and includes a series of special shows with The Avett Brothers. For more information on upcoming shows, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Mayfield’s sophomore release, Tell Me, is out now on Nonesuch Records. Produced by The Black KeysDan Auerbach, the album was described by Rolling Stone, which named her an Artist to Watch, as “a disarming collision of stark country balladry, dynamic alternative rock and arty electronic pop,” while the Associated Press says, “Tell Me is the portrait of a precocious girl growing into self-assured womanhood and a producer reaching the peak of his powers."

To pick up a copy of Tell Me, head to the Nonesuch Store, where orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the complete album, plus a live recording of "Our Hearts Are Wrong," the album's opener, named this week's Lyric of the Week by American Songwriter, as a bonus digital download.
