Jonny Greenwood's composition Popcorn Superhet Receiver, parts of which can be heard in the score for There Will Be Blood, will be performed by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra on April 10. Popcorn Superhet Receiver received its US premiere this past January as part of the Wordless Music Series in New York.

Jonny Greenwood's composition Popcorn Superhet Receiver, parts of which can be heard in the score for There Will Be Blood, will be performed by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra on April 10 as part of its  Classical Edge series. Greenwood originally wrote the piece for the BBC Orchestra while he was its composer-in-residence; that orchestra is also featured on the There Will Be Blood soundtrack recording. Popcorn Superhet Receiver received its US premiere this past January as part of the Wordless Music Series in New York.
