k.d. lang Closes Out World Tour in Australia, Performs on Channel 7's "Sunday Night"

k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang close out their three-week tour of Australia—and months-long world tour—featuring songs from her latest Nonesuch release, Sing it Loud, at the Brisbane Riverstage tomorrow night. The tour-closing performance follows stellar shows across the continent, with stops in Perth, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney, where lang and the band gave six sold-out performances at the State Theatre. The Age, reviewing one tour stop, says: "lang's voice remains a marvel."

While in Sydney, k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang took time out of her tour to give a special invitation-only live performance and audience Q&A at The Basement, which aired last night on the season-closing episode of Channel 7's Sunday Night. Fans around the world can now watch lang answer questions, perform the opening track to Sing it Loud, "I Confess," and give her famous take on Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," plus the Aussie group Little River Band's classic tune "Reminiscing" on the show's website at au.news.yahoo.com

To pick up a copy of Sing it Loud, head to the Nonesuch Store, where orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the album at checkout.
