The Low Anthem stopped by the NPR studios in Washington, DC, this weekend for an appearance on the Sunday edition of All Things Considered for an exploration of their music, which NPR describes as "shimmering Americana." All three members of the band—Ben Knox Miller, Jeff Prystowsky, and Jocie Adams—were there to speak with host Guy Raz about their recent Nonesuch debut, Oh My God, Charlie Darwin; listen to a few tracks off the album; and perform "Ticket Taker" live in the studio.

"The Low Anthem introduces Oh My God, Charlie Darwin with a guitar strumming gently under a falsetto voice," says NPR. "It then echoes to a shimmer. It's a sound Uncut magazine called 'hymnal purity.'"
