Punch Brothers are back on their home turf in New York City today and will stop by New York public radio station WFUV, 90.7 FM, to talk with Rita Houston, the station's music director, and perform songs from their latest Nonesuch release, Antifogmatic. Tune in on the radio or online at wfuv.org at 1 PM ET to hear them.

The station has just announced that the band will be performing in the sixth annual Holiday Cheer for WFUV show, which will take place at The Concert Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture on December 6. Also scheduled to perform are Amos Lee, The Secret Sisters, and Citizen Cope. Tickets went on sale this morning and are available at ticketmaster.com.

Tomorrow night, you'll find Punch Brothers on The Late Show with David Letterman. The band will be joined by Steve Martin—actor, comedian, writer, and banjo player extraordinaire—as the night's musical guests. Martin, who named Punch Brothers banjoist Noam Pikelny winner of the inaugural Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass in September, is also the first guest. Tune in on CBS stations across the United States starting at 11:35 PM ET. As Letterman's web site at cbs.com reminds us, "There is no off position on the genius switch."

---

Back on the radio front, Punch Brothers will appear on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor on Saturday, November 27. So while you're enjoying those Thanksgiving leftovers, join the Lake Wobegon family for the show, broadcast live from the Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio, at 5:45 PM ET. For more information and to purchase tickets to the live performance in Ohio, head to prairiehome.publicradio.org.

The band hits the road again to continue their fall tour of the States tomorrow. First up are two consecutive nights opening for Dave Matthews Band: at the Times Union Center in Albany on Friday and the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Philadelphia on Saturday. For additional information on these and other upcoming performances, visit nonesuch.com.

To pick up a copy of Antifogmatic on vinyl, CD, or in the three-disc deluxe edition, head to the Nonesuch Store, where orders include high-quality, 320 kbps of the original album at checkout.
