Caroline Shaw released two albums on Nonesuch in 2021: Let the Soil Play Its Simple Part, an album of songs written and performed by Caroline Shaw and Sō Percussion, and Narrow Sea, featuring the title piece, performed by Sō Percussion, Dawn Upshaw, and Gilbert Kalish. Her 2019 album Orange, performed by Attacca Quartet, won a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance.
