The Low Anthem, currently on tour in Europe, brought its winter US tour to a close earlier this month with an unforgettable gathering at the Central Falls, Rhode Island, pasta sauce factory where the band recorded the majority of its latest Nonesuch album, Smart Flesh. A camera crew from the ABC News feature Amplified was there, capturing an up-close look at the space that band member Ben Knox Miller says "was really the main instrument for the whole record."

You can see that footage in the latest episode of Amplified, posted below, in which Amplified contributor Matt Pinfield talks with the band—Miller, Jeff Prystowsky, Jocie Adams, and Mat Davidson—while in New York for their recent Bowery Ballroom show, about the new album and the development of The Low Anthem.

"Alynda Segarra is a great singer and songwriter who is also a keen observer of what's really going on out there," eTown host Nick Forster says of his guest, aka Hurray for the Riff Raff, "including struggles and oppression and injustice and drug addiction and also love and dancing and friendship and nature. It's another beautiful journey." Segarra made their debut on the show this weekend, accompanied by Johnny Wilson to perform songs from the new album The Past Is Still Alive and more, including a finale of "Midnight Special," with fellow guest Peter One. Segarra also spoke with Forster about their life, the new album, and more. You can watch the interview and performances here.
