Carolina Chocolate Drops' video for the track "Country Girl," which premiered earlier this week on CMT.com, is now available via the band's YouTube channel. The song is from the band’s new album, Leaving Eden, released earlier this year on Nonesuch Records. Leaving Eden, the group’s follow-up to their lauded label debut—2010’s Grammy Award-winning Genuine Negro Jig—is a record of original compositions, covers, and traditional songs produced by Buddy Miller (Emmylou Harris, Robert Plant, Solomon Burke). In case you missed the premiere earlier this week, check out the "Country Girl" video, directed by Thomas Ciaburri, below and at nonesuch.com/media.

The Chocolate Drops are continuing their North American tour throughout the summer, including a run of shows with the Dave Matthews Band. The tour takes the band to Virginia for three shows, starting with a concert at the Birchmere in Alexandria tomorrow night, followed by a Friday Cheers set on Brown's Island in Richmond, and a show at the Theater at Lime Kiln in Lexington a week from Sunday. For all of the currently scheduled tour dates, go to nonesuch.com/on-tour.

To pick up a copy of Leaving Eden, head to the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s at checkout; the album is also available to purchase there as MP3s and FLAC lossless files.
