Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Shawn Colvin, and Billy Bragg are among the artists who will perform at the 15th annual Americana Honors & Awards ceremony, taking place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. NPR.org will present a live video stream from the ceremony. A live audio simulcast of the Honors & Awards show will also be available via SiriusXM's Outlaw Country. The PBS series Austin City Limits will broadcast a special featuring performance highlights from the event on November 19. Shawn Colvin and Billy Bragg will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards; Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell are up for Duo/Group of the Year, as are Lake Street Dive.

Congratulations to Shawn Colvin, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Trailblazer Award at the 2016 Americana Honors & Awards ceremony at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 21. Also among the six Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Billy Bragg, this year's recipient of the Spirit of Americana Free Speech Award, and Woody Guthrie, the posthumous recipient of this year's President's Award. The full line-up for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park has been announced, and performing are Conor Oberst, Shawn Colvin, and Emmylou Harris, who will have performed at each of the festival's 14 years, plus Tweedy and T Bone Burnett, among others. The free, annual outdoor music festival will take place October 3–5, 2014.

Emmylou Harris and Shawn Colvin will join fellow Grammy Award-winning and/or -nominated women in music for Grammy Festival at Sea: Women Who Rock, a four-day cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl, departing from Miami and headed to the Bahamas, November 4-8, 2014. Harris and Colvin join Heart, Indigo Girls, Estelle, Skylar Grey, and others for performances, Q&As, and other activities hosted by the performers. There also will be one-of-a-kind opportunities to interact with the artists on board.

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriters Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle announce a special run of tour dates together this March: “Songs and Stories, Together Onstage,” in which they share the stage for a night of song swapping, duets, storytelling, and guitar playing. These two longtime friends and mutual admirers will share music from their extensive catalogues as well as some of their favorite songs by other classic songwriters. The tour kicks off outside Pittsburgh on March 18, followed by stops in Bethlehem, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Troy, Boston, Philadelphia, Durham, Nashville, and Richmond.

These longtime friends will share the stage as an intimate duo, performing material spanning their vast catalogs as well as some of their favorite songs. This first leg of the tour includes an additonal stop in North Carolina and shows through the South. Following Colvin's residency at the Dakota in Minneapolis and a tour of Australia, the duo tour picks up again in April, making stops across the Pacific Northwest, into Canada, and down to the US Northeast.

Colvin performs at the WFUV Holiday Cheer in New York City tonight, followed by a series of US headlining shows in the coming weeks.

She will perform sets at the famed Byron Bay Bluesfest on March 28 and 29 as well as solo shows at The Basement in Sydney on March 31 and The Corner in Melbourne on April 1.
