Jessica Lea Mayfield launches a month-long summer tour, including a number of headline shows as well as a ten-day tour supporting Langhorne Slim. Following her recent show with The Avett Brothers, Mayfield kicks off the tour with a headlining show at Firebird in St. Louis tonight, followed by her own shows in Kansas City, Wichita, Denver, and Salt Lake City. The tour with Langhorne Slim begins with shows at the Independent in San Francisco and the Troubador in Los Angeles next week and includes additional stops in California, Arizona, Texas, and Tennessee, before closing out at Headliners in Louisville, Kentucky. See below for all of the dates; for additional details and ticket links, go to nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Mayfield's Nonesuch Records debut, Tell Me, was released in 2011 and received rave reviews. Produced by The Black KeysDan Auerbach, Tell Me was described by Rolling Stone, which named Mayfield an Artist to Watch, as “a disarming collision of stark country balladry, dynamic alternative rock and arty electronic pop,” while the Associated Press said, “Tell Me is the portrait of a precocious girl growing into self-assured womanhood and a producer reaching the peak of his powers."

To pick up a copy of Tell Me, head to the Nonesuch Store, where CD orders include a download of the complete album at checkout, as well the bonus track "I'll Be the One You Want Someday (Live)."
