The Staves' Camilla and Jessica Staveley-Taylor were the musical guest on the latest edition of WNYC's Get Lit with All of It, the book club series with All of It host Alison Stewart, via a virtual gathering from The Greene Space. The featured author on the episode is Lauren Groff, who discusses her latest novel, MATRIX. The Staves performed songs from and spoke with Stewart about their new album, Good Woman; you can watch it here:

Good Woman, The Staves' first album in six years, was written and recorded in a time of turmoil for the band—the end of relationships, the death of their beloved mother, and the birth of Emily’s first child. Produced by John Congleton, the album stands as a testament to strength—of sisters, mothers, daughters—to love, loss, and change. To trying to be a good woman. "It’s a brilliant record, their new, fuller sound paying dividends," exclaims Record Collector. "It sounds cathartic to have recorded, and it’s cathartic to listen to." You can heat it and get it here.

The Staves will tour North America in early 2022. The tour begins in Dallas on February 9, heading across the South, up the mid-Atlantic to the Northeast, up to Canada, back down the US Midwest, over to the Pacific Northwest, and down to California, culminating at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on March 15. "We are beyond thrilled to announce that we will be coming to you in 2022!! We can’t wait to take Good Woman on the road to a town near you!"
