Audra McDonald will join fellow Tony Award winner and famed Sondheim interpreter Barbara Cook for a very special concert event titled Audra McDonald & Barbara Cook: Broadway Voices for Change, on Sunday, October 19, at 8 PM, at New York's Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Proceeds from the event will benefit America Votes, the largest grassroots voter mobilization effort in the US, supporting a broad economic and social justice agenda.

Audra McDonald will join fellow Tony Award winner and famed Sondheim interpreter Barbara Cook for a very special concert event on Sunday, October 19. Proceeds from the event, titled Audra McDonald & Barbara Cook: Broadway Voices for Change, will benefit America Votes, the largest grassroots voter mobilization effort in the US today. It is a coalition of over 40 of the most powerful national groups, like labor unions, Sierra Club, NAACP, VoteVets, and the League of Young Voters, working together to increase progressive voter registration and turnout in support of a broad economic and social justice agenda.     Vagabon (aka Laetitia Tamko) will support the band Crumb on tour this October. The shows begin in California—Santa Cruz, Oakland, and Sacramento—then head to Salt Lake City and Denver and on to Texas—Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso—and Albuquerque and back to California to close out the tour in Santa Ana, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
