Christina Courtin begins a three-week tour of the United States with Brooklyn trio Elizabeth & the Catapult in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, tomorrow night. Christina spoke with Glide magazine about self-titled Nonesuch debut album. Christina Courtin begins a three-week tour of the United States with Brooklyn trio Elizabeth & the Catapult at the Thunderbird Cafe in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, tomorrow night. Prior to the tour's start, Christina spoke with Glide magazine about her music, life before and after Juilliard, the joys of working with friends, and the process of making her recently released, self-titled Nonesuch debut album.

"The Brooklyn-based artist, who lists Neko Case as an artist she’s been listening a lot to these days, has created ten songs that are able to sustain a magical level of wonder for the listener.     Vagabon (aka Laetitia Tamko) will support the band Crumb on tour this October. The shows begin in California—Santa Cruz, Oakland, and Sacramento—then head to Salt Lake City and Denver and on to Texas—Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso—and Albuquerque and back to California to close out the tour in Santa Ana, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
