Iron and Wine, the pen name of singer-songwriter Sam Beam, has announced a series of US tour dates this spring, performing at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, California, on May 11, followed by a run along the East Coast in support of the new album Ghost on Ghost, due out April 16 in the US on Nonesuch Records. Tickets are on sale this week.

Iron and Wine, which will make its Nonesuch Records debut with the US release of the album Ghost on Ghost on April 16, 2013, has announced a series of US tour dates this spring. Iron and Wine, the pen name of singer-songwriter Sam Beam, will perform at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, California, on May 11, and then hop across the country for a run along the East Coast in support of the new album. Fan ticket pre-sales begin here on Wednesday, February 20; general on sales begin this Friday, February 22.

Beam previously announced a number of spring tour dates in Europe, where the album will be released on 4AD. See below for all of the currently announced dates and visit nonesuch.com/on-tour for additional details.

Ghost on Ghost is the fifth release from Iron and Wine. The album was produced by Beam’s longtime associate Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Califone, Fruit Bats) and follows 2011’s Kiss Each Other Clean, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard chart to critical acclaim.
