MTV today announced that The Black Keys will perform their hit single “Gold on the Ceiling,” off their album El Camino, at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Hosted by comedian/actor Russell Brand, the awards will air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 PM ET/PT. The Black Keys head back on the road in July for more North American arena shows and to headline a number of summer festivals in North America and Europe.

Hosted by comedian/actor Russell Brand, the 2012 MTV Movie Awards will air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 PM ET/PT from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. The Black Keys head back on the road in July for more North American arena shows and to headline a number of summer festivals in North America and Europe, starting with the Firefly Festival in Dover, Delaware, the weekend of July 20, followed by the inaugural Catalpa Festival on New York's Randall's Island July 28. Fans can win a VIP trip to the festival to meet The Black Keys by showing off their best dance moves to "Lonely Boy," the opening track to El Camino. For details and to enter to win, click here.

    The first recording of Steve Reich’s Runner and Music for Ensemble and Orchestra, performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and conducted by Susanna Mälkki, released on CD and digitally on Nonesuch Records in September, is now available on vinyl. The New York Times calls Runner "a calmly luminous orchestral piece with the pulsating, propulsive rhythms that animate much of Mr. Reich’s music."     A digital deluxe version of acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Molly Tuttle’s Grammy-nominated album with her band Golden Highway, Crooked Tree, is out today on Nonesuch. Alongside the original thirteen songs from the deluxe edition features new renditions of the Grateful Dead’s “Dire Wolf,” and the traditional folk song “Cold Rain and Snow,” also made famous by the Grateful Dead, as well as live versions of album tracks “Dooley’s Farm” (feat. special guest Jerry Douglas) and “Castilleja,” both recorded at Nashville’s historic Station Inn. To celebrate the deluxe release, Tuttle has shared a new video for album track “Nashville Mess Around," which can be seen here.
