The Black Keys' schedule looked to be pretty well full up following the May 18 release of their latest Nonesuch album, Brothers, opening for Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden, back-to-back spots on late-night TV for Letterman and Fallon, and US and European tours through the summer. Now comes word that the band will open for Kings of Leon throughout September. Also, it seems Frank the Puppet Dinosaur is back with a crass new music video.

The Black Keys' schedule looked to be pretty well full up following the May 18 release of their latest Nonesuch album, Brothers, with a May 20 set at Madison Square Garden opening for Pearl Jam; back-to-back spots on late-night TV, on the Late Show with David Letterman May 25 and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon May 26; and tour dates through the US, Europe, and back to the States again throughout the summer. Now comes word that there are more live shows to follow, when the band opens up for Kings of Leon over a dozen dates throughout the month of September.

Starting September 3 at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Indianapolis, The Black Keys will support Kings of Leon on tour stops through Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, and Texas, finishing up in Dallas on September 23. The Athens, Georgia-based trio The Whigs will open on all these dates as well.

And word on the street is that Frank the Puppet Dinosaur, star of the "Tighten Up" video, is back to his old tricks in a blatantly crass new video for the track "Next Girl," now on The Black Keys' YouTube page.
