The band performs at LouFest in St. Louis at the end of August, as will The Roots, Cat Power, TV on the Radio, and others. The Low Anthem is currently on tour in Europe, with The Head and the Heart opening along the way, and returns to the States following a sold-out UK tour closer as Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on April 11. The band will head straight out on the road again, first with Iron and Wine through the rest of April, then heading to New Orleans Jazz Fest and launching its own headlining tour. Just announced today, the band will perform at the second-annual LouFest Music Festival, taking place August 27 and 28 in St. Louis, Missouri, joining fellow performers The Roots, Cat Power, TV on the Radio, and others.

Just in time for The Low Anthem's return from England, the band will be featured on public radio's Mountain Stage. The episode, recorded during the band's February performance at the Charleston Civic Center in West Virginia, will be broadcast on NPR member stations across the US starting April 15. Also on the show are Lucinda Williams, Red Horse (John Gorka, Lucy Kaplansky, and Eliza Gilkyson), Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, and Ivan & Alyosha. The following week, the segment will be posted at npr.org/mountainstage. For more information and to find out where Mountain Stage is playing near you, head to mountainstage.org.

The Low Anthem can also be heard singing their song "To Ohio"—originally featured on their Nonesuch debut album, Oh My God, Charlie Darwin—in a new version sung with label mate Emmylou Harris. The song is a digital bonus track on Harris's forthcoming album, Hard Bargain, due out April 26, that will be available at amazon.com and iTunes.
