Bombino, who made his Nonesuch Records debut with the release of his new album, Nomad, last week, has unveiled the official video for the album track “Azamane Tiliade.” The video, directed by Reid Long, premiered via Rolling Stone yesterday and is now available below via Bombino's YouTube channel.

“For his new album, Nomad, Nigerien guitarist Bombino found a producer an ocean away: Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys,” writes Rolling Stone’s RJ Cubarrubia. “Together, the pair recorded raw, dialed-up jams rooted in the electric-blues tradition of Bombino’s nomadic, desert-dwelling Tuareg people." Cubarrubia describes "Azamane Tiliade" as a "proggy, groove-heavy track."

Bombino launched a month-long tour of Europe earlier this week and kicks off a four-city leg in the Netherlands at Doornroosje in Nijmegen tonight, followed by concerts in Amsterdam, Den Hague, and Utrecht this weekend. The European tour continues into early May with dates in France, England, Norway, Spain, and Belgium. Bombino then comes to the US for a concert tour that includes headline dates and festival sets, including Sasquatch!, Wakarusa, and Bonnaroo.
