Lake Street Dive kicks off its US tour with a sold-out show at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, Arizona, tonight, performing music from their just-release Nonesuch Records debut album, Side Pony. Before heading out on the road, the band stopped by the WFUV studios in New York City to perform an FUV Live session of songs from the album and talk with host Carmel Holt about their music. "There is something exciting about witnessing the success of a band that is not only wildly talented, but also authentic, that their success also becomes an inspiring symbol of staying true to yourself," says Holt.
