The Low Anthem, having performed on The Late Show with David Letterman with The Chieftains earlier this week, continued a week of stellar collaborations when it joined Bruce Springsteen, members of Arcade Fire, Tom Morello, Alejandro Escovedo, and others on stage for SXSW at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, last night for a powerful and moving rendition of Woody Guthrie's classic tune "This Land Is Your Land." The Low Anthem, having performed on The Late Show with David Letterman with The Chieftains earlier this week (watch here), continued a week of stellar collaborations when it joined Bruce Springsteen, members of Arcade Fire, Tom Morello, Alejandro Escovedo, and others on stage at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, last night for a powerful and moving rendition of Woody Guthrie's classic tune "This Land Is Your Land." The Low Anthem had performed its own set, part of the South by Southwest (SXSW) music conference, before Escovedo and then Springsteen and the E Street Band took the stage. Backstreets was there and captured the unforgettable finale of "This Land Is Your Land." Watch the performance below.

There's more collaboration ahead for The Low Anthem, as the band joins The Chieftains once more, as special guests in concert in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium tomorrow night, St. Patrick's Day. The concert is a celebration of The Chieftains' 50th anniversary and the recent release of their new album, Voice of Ages, on which The Low Anthem can be heard on "School Days Over." The Low Anthem also joined The Chieftains in a concert recorded at Boston's NPR member station WGBH earlier this week. The concert will stream this evening at 6 PM ET on NPR Music and is streaming online now at wgbh.org.

    Caroline Shaw and Sō Percussion have released "To Music," a new track from their upcoming album, Rectangles and Circumstance, due June 14 on Nonesuch. You can watch the video, directed by Robert Edridge-Waks with photography by Daniel Kukla, here. Shaw and Sō co-wrote and performed the ten songs on the album, which they co-produced with Grammy-winning engineer Jonathan Low (The National, Taylor Swift).
