Chris Thile and Michael Daves's debut album, Sleep with One Eye Open, due out May 10, is now available for pre-order in the Nonesuch Store. Recorded at Jack White’s studio in Nashville, the album is a collection of 16 traditional tunes by bluegrass legends like The Monroe Brothers, The Louvin Brothers, Jimmy Martin, and Flatt & Scruggs. Anyone who pre-orders the album here will get an autographed CD and be entered to win a Martin 000X1AE guitar. You can also enter to win by downloading the free track "My Little Girl in Tennessee" here. The duo take their show on the road with a series of East Coast dates in May.

Thile and Daves met at a bluegrass jam in Manhattan in 2005. Since then, they have been attracting fans with their high-octane interpretations of bluegrass standards at regular gigs at New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall. The duo will take their show on the road with a series of East Coast dates, including a fully sold-out three-night stand at Rockwood May 10, 11, and 12.     'Days of Wine and Roses' and 'Here Lies Love' Earn Multiple Tony Awards Nominations

    Congratulations to Days of Wine and Roses and Here Lies Love on their Tony Awards nominations. Days of Wine and Roses is up for Best Original Score for Adam Guettel, Best Leading Actress in a Musical for Kelli O'Hara, and Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Brian d'Arcy James, as well as Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and a Drama League awards. Here Lies Love is up for Tonys for Best Original Score for David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, Best Sound Design of a Musical for M.L. Dogg and Cody Spencer, Best Scenic Design of a Musical for David Korins, and Best Choreography for Annie-B Parson, as well as Outer Critics Circle and Drama League awards. And kudos to Timo Andres, who is up for both Tony and Drama Desk awards for Best Orchestrations for Illinoise.
