    Punch Brothers and Watchhouse join forces this summer for the second American Acoustic US tour, with dates in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and New Haven, among others; Sarah Jarosz also joins them for most of the dates. Thile says: “It took five years, but I’m elated to announce the second traveling edition of American Acoustic for this summer. Joining my fellow Punch Brothers and me in front of a pair of large condenser microphones will be our dear friends, Watchhouse and Sarah Jarosz, for a collaborative evening of music that traverses our respective catalogues and celebrates being together.”

    Hurray for the Riff Raff (aka Alynda Segarra) announces twenty-three new US tour dates, supporting Bright Eyes, beginning May 19 in Oklahoma City and continuing through July 3 in Omaha. Segarra is currently on a North American headlining tour in celebration of their Nonesuch debut album, LIFE ON EARTH. Summer dates in Europe begin July 16 in the UK and continue through September 20 in Berlin, with stops in Dublin, London, Paris, and Amsterdam, among others.

    Hurray for the Riff Raff (aka Alynda Segarra) begins a headline tour of the US and Canada featuring songs from their Nonesuch debut album, LIFE ON EARTH, this weekend. The month-long, 20-city tour starts in Atlanta on Saturday, with shows in Austin, Los Angeles, Pioneertown, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, DC, Durham, and Nashville. After performing at New Orleans Jazz Fest and We Are One Festival, Hurray for the Riff Raff heads to Europe and the UK to tour this summer.

    Chris Thile, who is currently touring the United States with Punch Brothers, has announced a tour of Europe and the UK this autumn. The month-long tour begins in Estonia on October 20, making stops in Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Norway, and the UK, culminating at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on November 15.

    Caramoor, the cultural arts venue on an 80-plus-acre estate in Katonah, New York, has announced its 2022 summer season, including performances by several Nonesuch artists: Molly Tuttle, Kronos Quartet, Dawn Upshaw, Rhiannon Giddens, Caroline Shaw, and Rachael & Vilray. "This summer is one of the most dynamic in our history," exclaims Caramoor’s President and CEO Edward J. Lewis III. "Our incredible lineup of artists and repertoire includes voices from an array of backgrounds, eras, and lived experiences, reflecting a broad diversity of audiences from our stages."

    Daughter of Swords (aka Mountain Man's Alexandra Sauser-Monnig) kicks off a two-week tour of the United States as special guest of The Tallest Man on Earth this Tuesday, March 1, at Fête Music Hall in Providence. The tour continues up and down the East Coast with shows in Boston, Portsmouth, New Haven, DC, Richmond, New York City, and Philadelphia, before culminating with two sold-out shows at Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago on March 14 and 15.

    The Magnetic Fields have announced a tour of Europe and the UK for the spring and summer, starting at Asker Kulturus in Oslo on May 31, followed by shows in Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France, and Germany. The dates follow the band's previously announced tour of the United States and Canada in April. That tour begins at the Tarrytown Music Hall in upstate New York on April 6, followed by stops in Northampton, Raleigh, Charlottesville, Toronto, Iowa City, Saint Paul, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

    The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, will present a selection of free public programs in conjunction with Laurie Anderson: The Weather (on view through July 31), the largest-ever US exhibition of Anderson's artwork. From late February through July, the Hirshhorn will present performances by Anderson, artist talks, and film screenings. Programs will be held at the Hirshhorn, at partnering DC venues, and online. “I’m so happy to be working with the Hirshhorn and grateful to be able to expand the exhibition into music, performance, and events,” she said. “In many ways, my subject has always been America, and it’s been exciting to get a chance to present my stories in the most symbolic center of power: the nation’s capital­—especially in these watershed times."

    Kronos Quartet has announced the seventh-annual Kronos Festival, to take place at SFJAZZ Center on April 7–9, 2022. The three-day celebration features five world premieres; signature works from Kronos’ far-reaching repertoire; an anniversary celebration; and three compositions commissioned as part of Kronos' Fifty for the Future: The Kronos Learning Repertoire project. Composer, arranger, and trombonist Jacob Garchik is this year’s Artist-in-Residence.

    Sam Amidon kicks off a six-week tour of Europe and the UK in Leipzig, Germany, Friday night. The tour, which features songs from Amidon's 2020 self-titled album and more, continues with additional shows in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Ireland. The UK leg of the tour begins at The Duncairn in Belfast on March 5, followed by shows in Portstewart, London, Brighton, Bristol, Frome, Birmingham, York, Edinburgh, Morecambe, Salford, Chester, and Guildford.

    Molly Tuttle, whose Nonesuch Records debut album, Crooked Tree, is due April 1, with her new bluegrass collective Golden Highway—Bronwyn Keith-Hynes (fiddle), Dominick Leslie (mandolin), Shelby Means (bass), and Kyle Tuttle (banjo)—has announced a tour of the US Northeast in April following the album's release. The new dates, in Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Maryland, follow previously announced shows in the weeks and months ahead throughout the West, Midwest, and South.

    This April marks 20 years since the release of Wilco’s storied fourth studio album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, on Nonesuch Records. Wilco will celebrate the milestone by performing Yankee Hotel Foxtrot—considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of the 2000s—in its entirety, plus a mix of concert favorites and rarities, in two limited runs at New York City’s United Palace and Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre in April. These unique performances precede Wilco’s annual North Adams–based Solid Sound Festival in May, and will offer fans a rare chance to celebrate the original masterpiece and prepare for the archival Yankee Hotel Foxtrot re-releases coming later this year.
